These terms cover the Bitcoin Breakdown newsletter and its websites, including bbreakdown.com, btcbreakdown.com and join.bbreakdown.com. Proof of Press LLC, a Wyoming company, publishes them. In these terms, "we" means Proof of Press LLC and "you" means anyone who subscribes, buys from us or uses these sites.
By subscribing, buying or using these sites, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use them.
You must be at least 16 to subscribe or use these sites, and at least 18 (or the age of majority where you live) to buy anything from us.
The newsletter is free, and you can unsubscribe at any time with the link in every email. We may change, pause or stop any part of the newsletter or the sites at any time.
Bitcoin Breakdown is news and commentary. Nothing we publish is financial, investment, legal or tax advice, and nothing we publish is a recommendation to buy or sell anything.
Our security and OPSEC guides are general information. You decide whether and how to use them, and you're responsible for the result. Keep your own keys safe. We can't recover lost or stolen bitcoin.
Paid subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel. You see the price before you pay. You can cancel at any time, and you keep access until the end of the period you've paid for. We don't refund or prorate partial periods, except where the law requires it.
We may change subscription prices. If we do, the new price applies from your next renewal, and we'll tell you before it takes effect.
When you buy a digital product, such as a guide, a PDF or a bundle, we give you a personal licence to use it. The licence is yours alone, and you can't transfer it. You may not share, resell, republish or upload a product, in full or in part, or use it to train an AI model.
All sales of digital products are final once the product is delivered, meaning once you can download or open it. If a file is broken or doesn't match its description, contact us and we'll fix or replace it. Nothing in these terms limits any refund right the law gives you where you live.
We own the content we publish, or we have permission to use it. You may quote short passages if you credit Bitcoin Breakdown and link to the source. Don't republish whole issues, articles or products without our written permission.
If you answer a poll, send a comment or give us feedback, you allow us to use, edit and publish it, including in the newsletter and on our sites. We don't publish your email address with it. Only send content that is yours to share.
Don't use our sites or newsletter to break the law, harass anyone, send spam or try to get into systems you aren't allowed into. Don't sign up other people without their permission, use bots to subscribe, or scrape the sites at scale. We may end or block access for anyone who breaks these terms.
Some content is sponsored, and some links are affiliate links. We label sponsored content. We don't control other companies' sites, products or services, and we aren't responsible for them. A mention in Bitcoin Breakdown is not a guarantee that a product is safe. Check it yourself before you trust it with your money.
We check our work, but we make mistakes, and news moves fast. We provide the newsletter, the sites and our products as they are, without warranties of any kind, as far as the law allows.
As far as the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost profits, lost data, lost bitcoin or trading losses, that come from using Bitcoin Breakdown. If we're found liable to you, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or 50 US dollars if you paid us nothing.
You agree to cover our reasonable costs if a claim against us arises from your breach of these terms or your misuse of our content.
Wyoming law governs these terms, and the courts of Wyoming decide any dispute. If you're a consumer, you keep any protections that the law where you live gives you and that a contract can't remove.
If we change these terms, we'll update the date at the top of this page. If you keep using Bitcoin Breakdown after that, the new terms apply. If a court finds part of these terms unenforceable, the rest still applies. These terms and our privacy policy are the whole agreement between you and us about Bitcoin Breakdown.
